About me;
You will find me a dedicated, warm and energetic educator who relates well to people of all ages and backgrounds. I am passionate about education and literacy and I believe this flows into how I work. As an educator I endeavour to look at each individual’s abilities and work with them to improve and achieve a successful outcome.

Past Experience: I have spent ten years at University and received my Ph.D. from the University of Melbourne. I have been teaching and tutoring for over 15 years both privately and within the university sector. Short listed for a student voted teaching award at RMIT University. I have recently updated my certificate IV in training and assessment so I am aware of the current methodology in education and training

Subjects Taught: Biology and English for all levels up to and including VCE. Proof reading of essays, assignments and exam preparation. I also can contribute to reading recovery and literacy support up to and including year 12.

Teaching style: My style of tuition involves discussion, question and answer time, quizzes, flash cards and worksheets. I also spend time explaining key processes and ideas to students at their level of knowledge.

Availabilities for 2012: I am available on Monday from 4 pm-7 pm. Thursday from 4pm -7 pm. Saturday and Sunday morning at 9 am -11am and Saturday and Sunday afternoon from 3 pm -6 pm.

Tuition Fee: $55 per hour

Tutoring Location: I am able to tutor from the centre or from homes in the South Eastern suburbs such as Hampton, Ormond, McKinnon, Bentleigh, Carnegie, Brighton and Highett.
